The unassuming and some-what nervous Teirnan clearly charmed the Dragon’s, as we knew he would, with a innovative product and self-belief behind him.
Teirnan has always been passionate about his cutting tool for the DIY-er and tradesman, ever since we received his initial sketch of the idea in December 2017. We were so overjoyed to see him come so far and make it into the Den.
Not surprisingly, Teirnan piqued the interest of DIY Queen Deborah Meaden, but she declared she was ‘out’ after concerns of there not being a big enough market for the product.
New Dragon Sara Davies, however, disagreed with Deborah and seemed excited by the prospect of bringing the product to the US. She also hinted at tooling the product in her very own injection moulding company, before offering his full amount of £41,000 for 30% of his company (double the % he initially offered, but he was quick to snap up her offer!).
Take a look at his episode that aired last night here. (8th Sept 2019)
Keep an eye out for updates from pipeEASY, we have a feeling Teirnan has got plenty more up his sleeve!
