Infringement (Patent)

Infringement of a patent is a serious and legal issue and occurs when the rights granted by a patent are breached.  Where the scope of infringement may vary from country to country, it is typically acknowledged that infringement occurs if (1) the claims of a granted patent cover a product, (2) the product is made, disposed of, imported, or kept without consent, (3) the product is for commercial intentions, or (4) where there is a patented process and the use of this process is implemented without consent.
