Ashley Caddle
Ashley is currently working with the Innovate design team as part of her BSc Product Design and Technology degree at Loughborough University. Working for the company has given her the opportunity to explore a variety of different areas within the design industry and to develop products that are not only aesthetically appealing but also functional and efficient.During her time at Innovate she has had the freedom to experiment with a range of 3D CAD modelling and photorealistic rendering packages. Ashley is now confident using both Pro Engineer and Solidworks to help realise her ideas and develop scale models of her designs. She has recently completed training in the software package Modo which has given her the skills necessary to model fabric based products with ease and efficiency.
Ashley has built upon the skills gained at university through working on a broad range of projects at the company. These include outdoor furniture and recreational products, kitchen utensils, clothing and accessories, beauty products, point of sale stands and packaging. She particularly enjoys working on the development of novel products that really help to enhance people’s lifestyles and quality of living.
In her free time Ashley enjoys socialising, broadening her music tastes and dancing. She also takes a keen interest in baking and often trials new recipes on the rest of the design team.
